Narrative
Pyrus sp. 'Nashpati II'. Scions collected from cultivated tree by M. Thompson and D. Brenner on 25 November, 1988 in Pakistan (Northwest Frontier, Swat District) near village of Shangoti (about 25 km NW of Mingora). Tree is growing on a small farm at 1200 m elevation; Latitude 34 59' N, Longitude 72 23' E. Collectors note: Fruit said to be softer than others (except Paraow) at maturity. Not sure if this is the same as Nashpati I (No. 880714). - Collection notebook, 1988.
