Info. from USDA and Calif. AES Release Notice (May 20, 1960) -- boll, seed and fiber data (1954 F4 progenies) --Wt./boll grams, 8.5, Lint % 39.5, Lint index 10.73, fiber UHM 1.14, length M 1.01, T1 2.34 and A of 423. Fails to perform agronomically due to rank growth, late maturity and inefficient boll retention in lower and mid-zones of plant. Large leaf provides extra shading. Good combiner. Cultivated.
