Narrative

A high quality shipping carrot developed from Gold Spike, Imperator Extra Long, and regular Imperator. Roots are semi-stumped and 9 to l0 inches in length. Exterior color is bright orange, crown smooth with well-rounded shoulder and top short - approximately 12 inches. Maturity is earlier than Gold Pak - about 70 days. Breeder: Waldo Rohnert Company. Vendor: S.R.S., Hollister, California. Parentage: Imperator, Imperator Extra Long, and Gold Spike. Characteristics: Short top, smooth crowns, uniform length. Similar: Imperator Extra Long. Adaptation: Texas and California. 1069.
