Jutiapa, Guatemala
Locality: Small bridge over a streamlet, 20 m northeast of Puente de Luche, about 5 km west of Agua Blanca.
Coordinates: 14.4833, -89.7000 (Map it)
Elevation: 920m.
Environment description: Region of subtropical dry forest. Hedgerows, gullies, and maize field. Most plants between roadside hedgerow dry, but evidence of seasonally flooding small stream, on soft soil. Other side of stream bed in maize field.
Number of plants sampled: 23
Comment: Most of some 100 plants had been cut, only those near hedge still intact.

Gigantic plants, to 4 meters tall. Much branched above, the lower lateral branches very slender, to 1.5 meters long and leaning on other vegetation. "Teosinte good for cattle feed, when green."
