The seeds are black, flowers green, leaves green. In the greenhouse it flowerd in the leaf axils and the seed was indehiscent. Observations from the Rodale Research Center, 1988 Rodale Amaranth Germplasm Catalog. Emmaus, PA. A decumbent wild plant.
