Narrative
The seeds are white, flowers red, and leaves light rufescent. The RRC class type is: Nepal. NODA #114. It was uneven for height with some lodging. Most of the plants are unbranched. Observations from the Rodale Research Center, 1988 Rodale Amaranth Germplasm Catalog. Emmaus, PA. Seed shipped with closing of Rodale Amaranthus program. At the time of the 1986 selection Kauffman noted: 1.4 m tall uniform row, red stems, red flowers and white seeds, no alternaria.
