Narrative
The seeds are white, flowers green and pink, leaves green. The RRC class type is: Nepal. NODA #88. Most of the plants were unbrachned. It lodged and did not mature in the field. There were some dark-seeded segregates. Observations from the Rodale Research Center, 1988 Rodale Amaranth Germplasm Catalog. Emmaus, PA. At the time of the 1986 selection Kauffman noted: Pink flower, 1.75m, very thin, unbranched infloresence could be "spike" type. Some alternaria.
