Locality: Mountains near Nathiagali in the district of Hazara.
Coordinates: 34.0500, 73.4000 (Map it)
Elevation: 2600m.
Environment description: Steep slope under trees. Occurs in 1-2 meter diameter patches in moister spots in range of Fragaria nubicola. Soil well drained, slightly stony, loam. Slope 70 degrees, aspect NE and SW, and exposure 40-60%.
Comment: Associated vegetation: Abies pindrow, Pinus wallichiana, Aesculus indica, Viburnum grandiflorum, Rubus, Fragaria, Trifolium, and Grass.
