Environment description: Edge of a terraced corn field, in a band ~0.5 meters wide. West facing. The soil is derived from red shale. Associated with: Zea mays, Pyrus sp., Juglans regia, and Ficus palmata.
Number of plants sampled: 20
Comment: Collected on the farm of Noor Rehman, he is also a shop keeper. The plants hang down over the edge of a retaining wall that is about 5 meters tall. So the roots are in the soil above the retaining wall, and the plants fell over to hang upside down, but still alive.
