Narrative
The seeds are dark brown, flowers amaranthine, leaves rufescent, green and variegated. The RRC class type is: unique. It is said to be a Hopi Indian cultivar. It is very branched, early maturing and resembles RRC 659. Observations from the Rodale Research Center, 1988 Rodale Amaranth Germplasm Catalog. Emmaus, PA.
