Narrative
The seeds are tan, black and brown, flowers red, leaves variegated. It is said to be used as grain. Some plants are branched from the base and other are unbranched. Observations from the Rodale Research Center, 1988 Rodale Amaranth Germplasm Catalog. Emmaus, PA.
