Narrative

The seeds are dark brown, flowers dark wine red, leaves rufescent. The RRC class type is: sangorache. It is said to have medicinal uses. Most of the plants are very erect and uniform with some late maturing segregates. Observations from the Rodale Research Center, 1988 Rodale Amaranth Germplasm Catalog. Emmaus, PA.
