Locality: Off dirt road (in swampy area), approx. 20 m from Hwy 101 just N. of bridge to Bolou Is. (near Reedsport, Douglas Co., CA); one other M. fusca nearby. No young plants observed; others plants include sedges, Rhamaus, skunk cabbage.
