Locality: At north side of Hwy 199 at Hiouchi (mile post; DN 543) with bracken fern, Rhamaus, purshaina, Rubus, Cystine; flat clear ing with deep soil, cultivated (M. domestica) probably grown in local area.

Comments: Small tree at rear of cluster (away from road) dbh ca. 2-3 cm., several stems to 3 m high. Seed present in large fruit which were connate. Plant badly infested with codling moth.
