Locality: At north side of Hwy 199 at Hoiuchi(mile post; DN 543) with bracken fern Rhamaus, purshiana, Rubus, Cystine. Flat clear- ing with deep soil; cultivated (M. domestica) probably grown in local area. s
Comment: Middle sized tree (5cm dbh) with several stems and probably largest in this cluster of trees. Seeds few per fruit; some fruit without seeds. Additional immature M. fusca (or hybrids) on south side of highway.
