Narrative
Ornamental P. calleryana cultivar. Named for the city of Cleveland, Ohio, where it presumably originated. Probably derived from a street tree in Cleveland, Ohio. May be synonymous with Chanticleer. Tree is evenly branched with a conical crown shape and has very glossy summer foilage, and nice reddish fall color. Along with 'Aristocrat' it is considered one of the hardiest P. calleryana cultivars.
