Environment description: extension reforestation with Cunninghamia lanceolata several plants seen along trail in small creek valley
Comment: Exploration for Rubus Germplasm in Guizhou Province, People's Republic of China. A China-USA Collaborative Project with the Nanjing Botanical Garden, Guizhou Botanical Garden and the USDA-ARS-National Clonal Germplasm Repository-Corvallis. Plants 0.5 to 0.75 m tall, growing in spreading colonies, appears to be weedy. Several plants seen along trail with only a few fruits. Fruits mature now. Collected seeds only.
