Comment: Exploration for Rubus Germplasm in Guizhou Province, People's Republic of China. A China-USA Collaborative Project with the Nanjing Botanical Garden, Guizhou Botanical Garden and the USDA-ARS-National Clonal Germplasm Repository-Corvallis. Many plants of this species along the roadside. Plants rather small but fruit seems to be larger than usual (3 typical fruits measured 14 x 12.5 mm, 15 x 12 mm, and 13.5 x 12.5 mm). Seeds only from several plants.
