Environment description: open rocky slope beside road with scattered shrubs
Comment: Exploration for Rubus Germplasm in Guizhou Province, People's Republic of China. A China-USA Collaborative Project with the Nanjing Botanical Garden, Guizhou Botanical Garden and the USDA-ARS-National Clonal Germplasm Repository-Corvallis. Plants more or less trailing to semi-arching. These plants had the largest, multiple-fruit clusters that we have seen so far. Excellent large clusters with larger-than-usual fruits. Seeds collected from several nearby plants.
