Environment description: Very steep mountains, heavily vegetated Near Hei Wan River, with other Rubus sp.
Comment: Exploration for Rubus Germplasm in Guizhou Province, People's Republic of China. A China-USA Collaborative Project with the Nanjing Botanical Garden, Guizhou Botanical Garden and the USDA-ARS-National Clonal Germplasm Repository-Corvallis. Plants to 2+ m, upright. Fruit medium small, orange, with good taste, mature now. Drupelets adhere to receptacle. Few primocanes on each plant. Common plant, many seen. Seeds, herbarium specimen with fruit collected.
