Locality: Chitral district, NWFP province, northwest of Chitral; Chitral Gol National Park - 200m west of Casaveer, near and abandoned farm; general topography = mountains

Environment description: Full sun exposure; 10-30 degree slope; north aspect; soil = loam, derived from shale; surrounded by Cotoneaster
Number of plants sampled: 5
Comment: This was the only site where this species was seen, and the National Herbarium does not have a speciman. Thus, it may be rare in Pakistan. Probably in sub-genus cerasus
