Type = Almond. Per the collection observation notes of Maxine Thompson: "Nut maturity July-Aug; oval nut shape; medium color; scribed shell markings; complete suture seal; medium hard shell; no outer cork retention; nut length 13mm; nut width 8.5mm and 11mm; .7gm; bitter taste; locally used to press oil from kernals; potential value: very drought resistant, rootstock potential, grows on arid scree slopes, with Pistacia khinjuk."
