Narrative
Type = rootstock. Flower = male. Per unknown source: "ORIGIN: The variety was selected by Victor Ganzin. Professor Millardet studied and named it after him. Rupestris Ganzin had its origin in Texas, from where it was imported to France in 1874. APTITUDES: Rupestris Ganzin is of moderate vigour, and highly resistant to the phylloxera. It gives vigorous grafted vines, but it has been discarded as a rootstock on account of its inferiority to Rupestris du Lot (17). It is a male plant, and it is one of the aprents of ARG nos. 1 and 2."
