Peach; tree of medium size and vigor, very hardy and productive; early in coming of bearing; cold hardy; least susceptible to brown rot and leaf curl diseases; leave five and one-half inches long, one and one-fourth inches wide, folded upward and recurved, oval to obovate-lanceolate, leathery, mixed glands, upper surface dark green while lower surface is grayish green; flower-buds long, conical or obtuse, plump, somewhat appressed, pubescent, season of bloom early; flowers pale pink one and three-fourths inches across, well distributed; fruit matures late September, two and seven-sixteenths inches long, nearly two and one-half inches wide, roundish-oval, bulged at one side, with unequal halves, color greenish or golden-yellow with a dull blush on one side; skin pubescent; flesh pale yellow to the pit, variable in juiciness, good in quality; stone free, one and nine-sixteenths inches long, one and one-sixteenth inches wide; attractive ornamental; ideal for the home garden; also good as dessert peach.
