Narrative
Cluster medium size, less compact and slightly longer than Concord. Berry medium, round, skin blue, tolerant to cracking; flesh melting, labrusca flavor absent, softer than Concord, seeds seperate when fully ripe; recommended for table and wine; ripens 10-14 days before Concord, Aug. 1-15. Vine: moderately vigorous, upright; hardiness and productively equal to Concord; tolerance to black rot and downy mildew comparable to Concord.
