Locality: Central Poland, near Warsaw, in the Radzikow State Forest.
Environment description: Collection area within the northern limits of J. regia's natural range, where trees are exposed to occasional severe low (-35 C) winter temperatures and to frequent fluctuating autumn and spring temperatures.
