Narrative

Hermaphrodite. Highest of wine quality. High resistance to Black rot, "Guignardia bidwellii". According to H. Barrett, survived in central Florida 710 years where many varieties succumbed to Pierce's disease. Is in ancestry of most of the best Frenchhybrid table grape varieties. Small, round, blue berry. Cluster small, compact. Winter hardy.
