Locality: Collected at Horsetail Falls (Cabo de Caballo), about 1/4 mile from the parking lot, just below the falls, on the west side of the trail. Horsetail Falls is about 5km west of El Carcado (on Hwy 85 about 35km south of Monterrrey).
Elevation: 847m.
Environment description: The large tree that nuts were collected from was growing by the river. Nuts on ground.
Comment: Collected by Dan Parfitt, L. J. Grauke, J. Payne, B. Wood, and Jose Luis Cervantes.
