Collected on Wu-Ding Farm. No cultivated varieties at the area. Only this naturally wild type, located along river for 2 km about 10 hectares.

Narrative
From original collection site: A large deciduous tree; branchlets glandular-pubescent; bark grayish-white. Leaves odd pinnate. Rachis grandular-pubescent leaflets of 7-8 pairs, nearly opposite and more or less sessile elliptic. Fruit ellipsoid, to 6cm long and 5 cm thick. Wild. The nut ellipsoid, pointed at apex. Many ridged. Chilling requirement 500 hrs. at 7 degrees C.
